I Met Hekhmet

Everyone already knows I have long enjoyed a strong connection with Native American energy. I am surrounded by it and have a most affectionate relationship with my spirit guides Jonathan, his wolf, and Elder Grandmother.  They bring a gentle wisdom through their reverence and respect for Mother Earth, nature, and all creatures. So let’s say that’s part one of who I am.

Recently I recognized the presence of the Holy Mothers–Mother Mary, Quon Yin, Mother Teresa, and Mary Magdalene.  They bring an understanding of the meaning of love beyond the human notion, nurturing, and most of all, the gift of compassion.  Let’s say that’s part two of who I am.

For a few months now, I have become aware of an Egyptian connection.  I had a vision of an Egyptian figure accompanied by a big cat.  I did not let this figure come close, feeling something like fear.  It turns out that I was not yet ready to deal with this much higher frequency.  But now I am, and she is now identified as Hekhmet, the lion-headed goddess, daughter of the Sun God Ra.  Very strong stuff!

I perceived the vision-figure as male, but it turns out that she instead represents the more aggressive aspects of the feminine, sometimes portrayed as a destroyer and avenger.  But wait, she also represents a mother protectress figure and the patron goddess of healers.  Her name means “She who is powerful.”  She brings fierceness, bravery, determination, and protection.  I need more of all that, and she has come to teach me. She will prepare me to encounter more energetic entities who have never lived on earth, but come from far away. Let’s say that Hekhmet is part three of who I am.

The three parts are merging to complete who I am, and to prepare me for all the adventures to come.  I am ready, Universe, so bring it on!

Blessings.

Wow! This is powerful stuff! I am really intriged with the sentence “She will prepare me to encounter more energetic entities who have never lived on earth, but come from far away.” I do not think I realized the other side had near and far.
